Eccentricity

To Germany

On Wednesday I am flying out to Munich with some friends to go to a rock festival, Rock Im Park (see the link for a list of bands that are playing).  I still have so much to get sorted before I leave.  I still haven't finished finding places to store all my things here at home. Also I need to make sure I am nearly sorted for moving to Oxford when I get back.  I only have two days at home to reorganise before I am off again.  Two of my friends are travelling up to Glasgow to stay the night here in East Kilbride tomorrow.  They both live in hard to get to villages making travelling to Prestwick Airport for 9am almost impossible.  So the obvious solution was for them to stay the night here.  My mum has also offered to give us a lift to the airport in the morning, which was really nice of her.  It will save us a lot of hassle and a bit of money.

I am looking forward to getting away from the UK for a week and especially looking forward to spending some time with my uni friends away from St Andrews.  But to be honest I have hardly had any time to get excited about the trip, with so much else going on.  I am sure it will hit me when we are in the airport!  I did hear today though, that the weatherforcast for the week doesn't look great.  It seems quite likely we are going to get rained on while camping (and rocking!).  Though I am sure that more than a little rain will be needed to spoil our fun.

I shall return in a week, undoubtedly caked in mud.
